FUNDERS
During 6 broadcast from 2001 - 2007 Bolt FM has trained hundreds of young people in radio. Broadcasting live shows for over 2,400 hrs giving many people a voice. As well as the education side, Bolt has built up a reputation in dealing with territorialism as radio isn’t restricted to a single community.
Recently Bolt has been championed by COSLA in its report on dealing with Antisocial behaviour. You can read the report and case study here: Promoting Positive Outcomes: Working Together to Prevent Antisocial Behaviour in Scotland
Bolt has no full time staff and is managed by volunteers so funding is sporadic. If you would like to invest in the future of the young people in some of the most deprived areas of Western Europe then get in touch. With your help we can continue to make a difference.
